The new unit, seen from above, is light gray in color. The old unit is pictureed laying in the kitchen sink. This new pump assembly cost $280.00. We could not find a new dishwasher of any common kind with a food grinder in it, which we like a lot. I am sure we saved ourselves $1,000.00 or more here in the short term. The next question is should we order a new electronics assembly while they still exist. That will probably be the next part to go. A new seal for the door is clearly something we must order now.
